Pro-Tect® — Temporary Floor Protection
Brown Rosin Paper
High-quality single-ply construction paper — 36" × 144' (432 sq ft). A job site staple for protecting floors, countertops, windows, and fixtures during construction and renovation.
Pro-Tect Brown Rosin Paper is free of added dyes — its natural brown color comes from the paper itself, making it safe for use on delicate surfaces sensitive to moisture or chemical contact. It can also be used as a sheathing paper inside walls, roofing, or under wood flooring to protect against dust, wind infiltration, and squeaks.

When using Rosin Paper as a sheathing liner under hardwood flooring, overlap seams by at least 2–3 inches and tape all joints. This prevents dust and moisture from passing through the seams and helps reduce floor squeaks caused by friction between the subfloor and hardwood.
Not waterproof. Rosin Paper provides light moisture resistance but is not a waterproof barrier. For heavy moisture protection, use Pro-Tect® WR Hardboard (water resistant for up to 72 hours) instead.
