Loba Amberizer is a professional additive that gives any LOBA water-based finish or primer the rich, warm amber appearance of a traditional oil-modified polyurethane or solvent-based finish — without the downsides of solvent-based products. Perfect for matching newly finished floors to existing older oil-finished surfaces, or for enhancing the natural warmth of dark wood species. Apply in one or multiple coats to control color depth and intensity.

How to use

For 2-component finishes (2K Duo, 2K Supra A.T.): add hardener to the finish first, then add Amberizer and mix thoroughly.

For 1-component finishes: add Amberizer directly to the finish and shake or stir thoroughly before application.

Add only right before application. Mix ratio is 2% — one 100ml bottle per 1 gallon (approx. 5L) of finish.

Apply as evenly as possible — avoid puddles and overlaps. Use edge roller for perimeter areas. Always test on a sample area first.
Note for light wood species: Amberizer is recommended primarily for dark wood species and dark-stained surfaces.
