Ciranova® Liming Paste
Ready-to-use white paste designed to create a traditional cerused wood effect by filling the open grain with white pigment while enhancing the natural texture and character of the wood.
LIMING PASTE fills the wood grain white to accentuate the contrast of open pores. Especially suitable for oak, ash, elm, and other open-grained wood species.

Best Applications
Application Process
| Preparation |
Best suited for open-pore wood such as oak, ash, or elm. Brush the wood beforehand to open and clean the grain.

| Prime Coat |
Pre-treat the wood using FORTICO 1C, FORTICO 2C, HARDWAXOIL MAGIC, TITAN, or another compatible Ciranova® base product.

| Application |
Apply the white paste generously with a brush following the wood grain.

| Drying |
Allow the Liming Paste to dry for at least 1 hour before sanding.
|
| Remove Excess |
Sand with P180 grit paper until the desired cerused effect is achieved.
|
| Finishing |
Dust off the surface completely and protect using the same finish product used as the prime coat.
