Loba Whitener is a professional water-based additive that gives any LOBA finish or primer a smooth, customizable brightening effect — perfect for achieving that clean, contemporary Scandinavian-style whitewashed look without the harshness of pigmented paints. Apply in one or multiple coats to dial in exactly the right level of brightness. The opposite of Amberizer — where Amberizer warms and darkens, Whitener brightens and lightens.

How to use
1
For 2-component finishes (2K Duo, 2K Supra A.T.): add hardener to the finish first, then add Whitener and mix thoroughly.
2
For 1-component finishes: add one 80ml bottle per gallon of finish and shake or stir thoroughly just before application.
3
Do not pour mixed finish directly on the floor. Use a LOBA finish bucket and apply with a roller or T-bar.
4
Apply edges with a LOBA edge roller. Apply as evenly as possible — avoid puddles and overlaps. Always test on a sample area first.
Note for dark wood species: Whitener is recommended primarily for light wood species and light-colored surfaces. For dark woods, the lap mark risk increases significantly. Use matte finishes where possible to reduce this risk, and always consult Loba-Wakol before applying to dark species.
For professional use only. Always prepare a sample area before full application. For technical support call Loba-Wakol at 1-800-230-6456.
