VELOSIT SC 244 – Rapid Shrinkage-Compensated Screed

VELOSIT SC 244 is a shrinkage-compensated, ready-to-use screed formulation with very rapid strength development. The material binds mixing water quickly, allowing a very short waiting time before installation of floor coverings.

VELOSIT SC 244 exceeds the requirements of EN 13813 class CT-C50-F7.

The material can be applied manually using a rake or installed with suitable pumping equipment.

Installation & Performance

• Ready for ceramic tile installation after approx. 4 hours
• Ready for moisture-sensitive floor coverings after approx. 48 hours
• Working time: approx. 40 minutes
• Compressive strength after 4 hours: approx. 12 MPa (1840 psi)
• Final compressive strength: > 50 MPa (7250 psi) after 28 days
