Clip&Rip™ Universal Hidden Deck Clip
A fast-install hidden deck clip system designed for grooved composite, PVC, and hardwood decking with pre-assembled collated strips and stainless steel screws.
Clip&Rip™ Universal Hidden Deck Clips are designed for faster one-pass fastening. The pre-assembled collated strips allow installers to insert, drive, and snap clips quickly, saving time and labor on the job site.

Key Features
One-Pass Fastening
Fastener installs in one pass and remains level so the next deck board can easily slide into place.
Compression Tabs
Compression tabs bite down into the joist to help keep the clip level after the screw is fully installed.
Universal Compatibility
Suitable for grooved composite, PVC, and hardwood decking applications.
Corrosion Resistance
Available in 305 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel for marine environments, ACQ, and pressure-treated lumber.
Installation Steps
Step 1 — Insert
Insert the strip of clips into the leading board groove with the arrow pointing forward. Center over the joist.
Step 2 — Drive
Drive screws straight and steady until the screw head is flush with the clip.
Step 3 — Snap
Lift up on the strip to break off the installed clip cleanly.
Step 4 — Slide & Repeat
Place the next board at a slight angle, slide it into the installed clips, and repeat at every joist.

Starter Clip Instructions
First & Last Boards
For the first and last deck boards, screw a starter clip at every joist.
Install First Board
Once all starter clips are installed, push the first deck board into the starter clips.
Continue Installation
Proceed to fasten the remaining boards using the standard Clip&Rip™ hidden deck clips.
Check Consistency
Check between boards throughout installation to ensure consistent spacing and alignment.
Each 16-clip strip is designed to help install a full 20 ft board quickly while maintaining a clean hidden-fastener appearance.
Use 316 stainless steel clips for marine environments. Confirm compatibility with your decking material and project conditions before installation.
