Prep A Procedure
Step 1 — Prepare the space
Remove all loose debris from the surface and gather the Stone Soap, clean water, pump sprayer, nylon brush, or scrubbing machine needed for the project.
Step 2 — Washing process
Mix 1 part Stone Soap with 4 parts water.
Lightly dampen the surface with water to reduce deep cleaner penetration into the substrate.
Apply the Stone Soap mixture lightly with a pump sprayer and allow it to sit for 2–3 minutes.
Scrub the surface using a scrub machine or nylon brush.
Rinse thoroughly and confirm that no residue remains.
Step 3 — Additional information
Allow the surface to dry completely before applying sealers. Do not use muriatic acid for surface preparation because remaining residue may cause adhesion problems.
Prep B Procedure
Step 1 — Prepare the space
Remove debris and gather Stone Soap, Power Cleaner, clean water, a pump sprayer, nylon brush, and any required scrubbing equipment.
Step 2 — Prepare the cleaning solutions
Mix 1 part Stone Soap with 4 parts water.
Mix 1 part Power Cleaner with 4 parts water.
Step 3 — Washing process
Lightly dampen the surface with water.
Apply the Power Cleaner mixture lightly with a pump sprayer and allow it to sit for 2–3 minutes.
Scrub with a scrub machine or nylon brush.
Rinse thoroughly and remove all residue.
Repeat the same procedure using the Stone Soap mixture to remove remaining chemical residue.
Step 4 — Additional information
Let the surface dry completely before applying sealers. Do not substitute muriatic acid, as residual acid may interfere with proper adhesion.
Prep D Procedure
Step 1 — Prepare the space
Remove loose debris and prepare Nu-Lift Cleaner, Stone Soap, water, a pump sprayer, nylon brush, and scrubbing equipment.
Step 2 — Nu-Lift cleaning process
Lightly wet the surface before applying Nu-Lift Cleaner.
Apply undiluted Nu-Lift Cleaner and allow it to sit for 2–3 minutes.
Scrub the surface using a scrub machine or nylon brush.
Rinse thoroughly and ensure no residue remains.
Step 3 — Stone Soap rinse
Mix 1 part Stone Soap with 4 parts water.
Apply the mixture and allow it to sit for 2–3 minutes.
Scrub with a scrub machine or nylon brush.
Rinse thoroughly and remove all remaining residue.
Step 4 — Additional information
Always allow the surface to dry completely before applying sealers. Do not use muriatic acid, as residue may lead to adhesion problems.
