Step
Process
1. Clean & Profile
Degrease and clean tile thoroughly. Abrade or profile glossy surfaces for proper bonding.
2. Prime
Prime with X-Bond Liquid to support adhesion over prepared tile.
3. Scratch / Fill Pass
Fill grout lines and create a bonded base layer. Typical Liquid : Stone ratio is approximately 1:2.
4. Leveling / Skim Passes
Use leveling or skim passes as needed for flatness. Typical Liquid : Additive : Stone ratio is approximately 1:1:2.
5. Decorative Coats
Apply finish coats to the desired movement and texture. Allow proper dry time between coats.
6. Seal
Seal with Titan Glossy for gloss or Satin Stone for a satin, industrial-rated finish.
Proper tile preparation is critical. Existing tile must be clean, sound, bonded, and properly profiled before resurfacing. Always confirm moisture conditions, substrate suitability, and sealer selection before installation.
