How To Order

Choose either the Small Kit or Large Kit based on the project size and surface type.

Prep & Application Overview
Clean the surface
Remove dust, debris, weak coatings, and surface contamination before application.
Prime with X-Bond Liquid
Use X-Bond Liquid as the primer to help create a strong bond to the prepared substrate.
Apply scratch coat
Apply the scratch coat using approximately Liquid to Stone at a 1:2 ratio with broom, hopper, or roller.
Trowel leveling coat
Trowel the leveling coat using approximately Liquid, Additive, and Stone at a 1:1:2 ratio, then allow to dry.
Apply final skim coats
Apply final skim coat layers using approximately Liquid to Stone at a 1:2 to 1:2.5 ratio. Light sanding may be done if needed.
Finish the surface
Finish with paint, tile, epoxy, or the SEMCO Decorative Finish Kit depending on the final look required.
