Prep & Application Overview
Surface preparation
Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. Repair cracks or damaged areas as needed before installation.
Prime for adhesion
Prime using X-Bond Liquid to help maximize adhesion between the existing surface and the resurfacing system.
Scratch coat
Apply a scratch coat using approximately X-Bond Liquid to X-Bond Stone at a 1:2 ratio.
Leveling pass
Trowel the leveling pass using approximately X-Bond Liquid, X-Bond Additive, and X-Bond Stone at a 1:1:2 ratio.
Skim coats
Apply 1–2 tight skim coats using approximately X-Bond Liquid to X-Bond Stone at a 1:2.5 ratio.
Final sealer
Seal the finished surface with Satin Stone or Titan Glossy depending on desired sheen and durability.
